Learning Path with Levels of Learning

For all our courses and masterclasses a learning path is designed to give you a clear route through various training courses. It breaks the knowledge down into manageable chunks, allowing you to easily absorb information and progress smoothly through each course.

The learning path is built on three types of knowledge levels: Foundation, Advanced, and Excellence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Human in Progress Academy is a professional learning organisation that provides structured online virtual live training in Dutch employment law, EU HR compliance, and Works Council governance. We are enabling founders, CEOs, managing directors, HR professionals and Works Council members to access in-depth legal explanations, and practical frameworks. Whether the focus is Dutch Works Council obligations under the Wet op de ondernemingsraden (WOR), EU regulatory developments or structured HR governance processes, the Academy delivers a clear, practice-oriented learning experience. Our online courses are built upon three knowledge levels: Foundation, Advanced and Excellence.

The courses and masterclasses are delivered in English. All pre-course, course materials, templates, and exercises are in clear, professional English. The language is practical and accessible, especially for international HR professionals, entrepreneurs, and governance leaders working in EU or global contexts. Where relevant (e.g. Dutch employment law examples), local terminology is explained in English.

At the Human in Progress Academy, the online virtual live courses are 4 hours and the online virtual live Masterclasses are 2.5 hours. Virtual live courses are intentionally designed not to exceed four hours . Research on adult learning and cognitive performance shows that attention, retention, and decision-making quality decline during prolonged screen-based learning. Our shorter, focused courses and masterclasses improve concentration, engagement, and practical application of complex material.

Pre-course material is the content material participants will receive before the actual training session begins. These materials are designed to prepare participants for the content and objectives of the course and to ensure there is a foundational understanding of key concepts before diving into the course. The pre-course material will be sent by the latest one week before the course.

The materials presented during the courses and masterclasses will be received post-course and include:
  • Presentation Slides: Visual reinforcement of key concepts.
  • Knowledge Base: Links to additional readings, articles, and tools for ongoing learning.
  •  Support: Survey, additional reading links, courses, and access to support channels.

The effectiveness of the course is measured and evaluated in several ways, depending on the goals and objectives.
  • Pre-and post-course material: Before and after the training, participants receive documentation to measure the extent of knowledge or skills gained during the course.
  • Survey: Feedback is collected from participants through our survey to measure the effectiveness of the course and identify areas for improvement.
  • Follow-up training and support: After the course, our Academy Team is offering guidance. If a more extensive study of questions and advice is required, HR Services or Works Council Consulting is offered by us. Additional course, programmes and workshops can be also conducted to reinforce the skills learned during the initial course.
